Customers can now deploy Engagement Systems marketing automation within Salesforce CRM

SAN FRANCISCO - Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference - November 18, 2009 - Engagement Systems today announced the availability of its ES-Basic, ES-Lite and ES-Premium marketing automation applications on the AppExchange. In addition to making Engagement Systems' marketing campaign technology - used by more than 14,000 salespeople and marketers - accessible to a wider audience, the move helps businesses utilize and enhance the power of Salesforce CRM by improving their ability to nurture leads, close sales and increase ROI by automatically initiating, delivering and tracking 1:1 marketing communications.

Built using the Force.com platform, Engagement Systems' marketing automation applications are immediately available on the AppExchange at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange/. In addition, ES-Basic is available as a free download.

The announcement was made today at Dreamforce 2009, salesforce.com's user and developer conference.

Engagement Systems' marketing campaign automation solution is available on the AppExchange in three versions. ES-Basic, a free application, allows users to experience basic automated marketing communication functionality and send direct mail greeting cards from within their Salesforce CRM. Engagement Systems' advanced marketing automation systems - ES-Lite and ES-Premium - integrate with Salesforce CRM, allowing sales teams and marketers to launch and track multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns directly from their Salesforce CRM deployment.

"Because Engagement Systems builds upon standard Salesforce processes, using it came very naturally, without the steep learning curve of some marketing automation systems," said Brad Oddo, CEO of Marathon Processing Systems. "Engagement Systems has helped our sales and marketing staff work smarter, letting us build relationships with more prospects than possible before. We were able to achieve a 20% sales growth in just five months using Engagement Systems."

"Engagement Systems' marketing automation applications are a clear example of how developers can use the Force.com platform to innovate so they may meet the cloud computing needs of customers," said Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer, salesforce.com. "The addition of ES-Basic, ES-Lite and ES-Premium to the AppExchange exemplifies the growing ecosystem of applications available to Salesforce CRM customers to help them realize customer success."

Automated Marketing Campaign Software Now Available on the Salesforce.com AppExchange

Sales Executives and Marketers Can Now Launch Multi-Channel Communications Right from Their Salesforce CRM User Screen

Kansas City, MO - November 1, 2009 - Engagement Systems, a 1:1 automated marketing system integrated with Salesforce CRM, today announced they have become a certified AppExchange partner.

"We are excited to be able to provide a larger group of Salesforce CRM users access to our marketing campaign system by making three versions available on the AppExchange," said Karen Wilcox, VP Business Development of Engagement Systems.

Engagement Systems' initial releases on the AppExchange include ES-Basic, an entry-level system available as a free download. ES-Lite, for small businesses, and ES-Premium, for mid-size companies and larger enterprises, are also immediately available. All versions are embedded within the Salesforce CRM user screen for seamless and complete integration, eliminating the need for users to toggle between multiple platforms or tabs to execute marketing communications.

Engagement Systems (http://www.engagementsystems.com) was built using proprietary technology that allows salespeople to quickly initiate personalized communications or multi-touch campaigns to one lead or contact at a time. Engagement Systems' rule-based triggers also allow marketers to automatically launch multi-channel campaigns containing email, direct mail and personalized web pages to segmented groups or individuals based on their stage in the customer lifecycle.

"Because Engagement Systems builds upon standard Salesforce CRM processes, using it came very naturally, without the steep learning curve of some marketing automation systems," said Brad Oddo, CEO of Marathon Processing Systems. "Engagement Systems has helped our sales and marketing staff work smarter, letting us build relationships with more prospects than possible before. We were able to achieve a 20% sales growth in just five months using Engagement Systems."

Engagement Systems separates itself from competing CRM marketing automation applications by providing a system that eliminates the need for additional marketing resources, consulting, IT and training expenses. Clients are guided through the process, with Engagement Systems providing all custom product programming and business rules coding necessary for implementation and tracking. Because other systems are so complex, Engagement Systems' full integration and ease-of-use make them a leading innovator in the marketing automation industry.

"Engagement Systems offers a unique solution with a lower total cost of ownership and faster implementation," Wilcox said. "This is the biggest thing that sets us apart from other automated marketing systems, and is also the biggest benefit for our clients."
